بَنُو رَأُوبِينَ بِكْرِ إِسْرَائِيلَ. كَانَ هُوَ الْبِكْرُ، وَلَكِنَّهُ عَاشَرَ جَارِيَةَ أَبِيهِ، فَفَقَدَ حَقَّهُ كَالْاِبْنِ الْبِكْرِ، وَأُعْطِيَ هَذَا الْحَقُّ لِابْنَيْ يُوسِفَ ابْنِ إِسْرَائِيلَ. وَلِذَلِكَ لَا يَرِدُ اسْمُ رَأُوبِينَ كَالْبِكْرِ.
