فأَرسَلَ رُسُلًا إِلى بِلْعامَ بنِ بَعور، إِلى فاتورَ الَّتي على النَّهرِ في أَرضِ بَني عَمَّوْ، لِيَستَدْعوه. وقالَ له: «هُوَذا شَعبٌ قد خَرَجَ مِن مِصْر، فغَطَّى وَجهَ الأَرض، وهو مُقيمٌ قُبالَتي.
