ثُمَّ نَفَضْتُ ثَنْيَةَ ثَوبِي عِنْدَ الحَضْنِ وَقُلْتُ: «لَيْتَ اللهَ يَنْفُضُ هَكَذَا مِنْ بَيْتِهِ وَمُلْكِهِ كُلَّ مَنْ لَا يَحْفَظُ هَذَا العَهْدَ. وَلَيْتَ مَنْ يَفْعَلُ هَذَا يُنْفَضُ خَارِجًا وَيِصِيرُ مُفلِسًا.» فَقَالَ كُلُّ الحَاضِرِينَ: «آمِينَ،» وَسَبَّحُوا اللهَ. وَحَافَظَ الشَّعْبُ عَلَى وَعدِهِمْ.
