فَلَمَّا سَمِعَ جِدْعُونُ الحُلْمَ وَتَفْسِيرَهُ، سَجَدَ للهِ ثُمَّ عَادَ إلَى مُعَسْكَرِ إسْرَائِيلَ وَقَالَ: «انْهَضُوا! فَقَدْ ضَمِنَ لَكُمُ اللهُ أنْ تَهْزِمُوا كُلَّ جَيْشِ المَدْيَانِيِّينَ.»
