قَالَ عَامُوسُ: «يَزْأرُ اللهُ مِنْ صِهْيَوْنَ كَأسَدٍ يَسْتَعِدُّ لِلهُجُومِ، وَمِنْ مَدِينَةِ القُدْسِ يَرْفَعُ صَوْتَهُ. مَرَاعِي الرُّعَاةِ سَتَجِفُّ، وَقِمَّةُ جَبَلِ الكَرْمَلِ سَتَيْبَسُ.»
