لَكِنَّ اللهَ لَمْ يَشَأ أنْ يَقْضِيَ عَلَى بَيْتِ يَهُوذَا بِسَبَبِ الوَعدِ الَّذِي قَطَعَهُ لعَبدِهِ دَاوُدَ. إذْ وَعَدَ اللهُ بِأنْ يَبْقَى مِصْبَاحًا مُنِيرًا لِدَاوُدَ وَأبْنَائِهِ إلَى الأبَدِ.
