وَأرْسَلَ آحَازُ رُسُلًا إلَى تَغْلَثَ فَلَاسِرَ، مَلِكِ أشُّورَ، جَاءَ فِيهَا: «أنَا خَادِمُكَ، وَبِمَثَابَةِ ابْنٍ لَكَ. فَتَعَالَ وَأنقِذْنِي مِنْ مَلِكِ أرَامَ وَمَلِكِ إسْرَائِيلَ اللَّذَيْنِ يُحَارِبَانَنِي.»
