وَفِي اليَوْمِ التَّالِي، فِي اليَوْمِ الثَّانِي مِنَ الشَّهْرِ، كَانَ مَكَانُ دَاوُدَ مَا يَزَالُ فَارِغًا. فَقَالَ شَاوُلُ لِابْنِهِ يُونَاثَانَ: «لِمَاذَا لَمْ يَحْضُرِ ابْنُ يَسَّى إلَى مَأدُبَةِ عِيدِ أوَّلِ الشَّهْرِ لَا أمْسِ وَلَا اليَوْمَ؟»
