Daarom wou die mense nie eintlik iets met hulle te doen gehad het nie.) Hierdie man val toe op sy knieë voor Jesus neer en buig sy kop tot laag op die grond. Daar voor almal begin hy Jesus hardop prys. Toe smeek hy Jesus: “Here, as U wil, kan U my gesond maak. Dan sal ek weer rein wees en ’n gewone lewe kan lei - ek sal weer vriende kan hê en in die tempel gaan aanbid. Ek weet U kan as U wil!”
